9th edition of La Vendemmia di Montenapoleone 2018
The 9th edition of La Vendemmia 2018 was organised in Milan by Montenapoleone District in partnership with Grandi Cru d’Italia committee, and from October 8th to 14th the city became a hotspot connecting high fashion, great Italian wines, luxury hotels and restaurants.
The real celebration took place in the famous Milan’s Fashion District which comprises boutiques of Via MonteNapoleone, Via Verri, Via Sant'Andrea, Via Santo Spirito, Via Borgospesso and Via Bagutta that together embody the spirit of luxury shopping.
More that 100 luxury boutiques have partnered with world’s most prestigious wineries for a stellar experience. Christian Dior boutique opted for Ruinart Rosé, Emilio Pucci chose the supertuscans Sodi di San Niccolò of Castellare di Castellina, Gucci served for Ca’del Bosco chardonnay 2014 and Borsalino partnered with Bisol Prosecco di Valdobbiadene.
One of the La Vendemmia 2018 highlights—“Italian Masters” charity auction conducted by Christie’s. During the auction, some of the great Italian wines in magnum format were presented: Tignanello 2015 of Antinori, Ornellaia 2015, Turriga 2015 of Argiolas, San Leonardo 1995 of Tenuta San Leonardo, Barolo Riserva Bricco Boschis Vigna San Giuseppe 2004 of Cavallotto, double magnum of Rocca di Frassinello Beaubourg 2013 Limited Edition of Rocca di Frassinello, to name a few.
This year the entire proceeds will be donated to a non-profit Carlo Best Children’s Neurological Department Association for the renovation of the Neurological Institute's garden, where children play.
